first sunset tour to hohe matona

hey everyone,

the first sunset hike took place during september 2023. this hike was particularly special as it was our very first sunset tour, and it marked the beginning of something truly wonderful.

at that time, none of us knew each other. we were all meeting for the first time, and it was amazing how quickly we connected and got along. we started our journey from laternsertal and made our way up to hohe matona. we were fortunate with the weather, which made the hike even more enjoyable.

when we reached the top, it was a bit windy, but the view was absolutely stunning. the experience of being up there together, watching the sunset, was incredible and a fantastic first adventure with our new group.

this hike was especially meaningful for me because, after the first sunrise tour where no one showed up, having people join for this sunset hike was a big deal. it demonstrated the magic that happens when you step out of your comfort zone and share these moments with others. these experiences become unforgettable.
