sunset tour to hohe kugel

hey everyone,

during the beginning of october 2023, it was time for another community adventure. we met at the parking lot in fraxern and started our hike together. this time our plan was to hike to the hohe kugel and watch an incredible sunset. we also had some new faces joining our group, which was really exciting. the conditions were perfect as we made our way up the mountain, and we had some great conversations along the way.

an interesting twist to our hike was the presence of sahara dust in the air, which gave the light a unique orange hue. when we reached the summit and waited for the sunset, the effect of the sahara dust made the experience even more magical. the sunset was absolutely beautiful, casting a warm, orange glow over the landscape.

as the sun dipped below the horizon, we continued our wonderful conversations and shared some unforgettable moments. Once it started to get dark, we put on our headlamps and carefully made our way back down during the blue hour. The descent was smooth, and everyone made it back safely.

This hike was another amazing experience, filled with great talks and connections with new people. It was truly a memorable adventure, and I'm already looking forward to our next one.
